Churchill Funeral Home. Henry Eugene DelaneyHenry Eugene Delaney, 91, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, died at 5:55 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Bradford Heights Health and Rehab in Hopkinsville.A native of Hopkinsville, he was born Sept. 1, 1926, to Arnold Eunice Delaney and Birchie Johnson Delaney.He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served as Seabee in World War II and also served in the Korean War. He was a farmer. He was a member of Sinking Fork Baptist Church and a former Sunday school teacher and Sunday school superintendent.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randolf Delaney.Mr. Delaney is survived by his daughter, Annette Delaney Stanfill and husband Robert of Hopkinsville; his son, James Delaney and wife Sarah of Hopkinsville; his brothers, Seth Delaney and wife Mary Ann and Albert Delaney and wife Agnes, all of Hopkinsville; his sisters, Christine Lyon and Mildred Aldridge, both of Hopkinsville; and his grandchildren, Brittany Delaney and Chelsey Delaney.The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018, at Sinking Fork Baptist Church in Hopkinsville with Mike Humphries and Tom Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Mem...
